Tips for Installing your CT Scanner

It is important when purchasing new or Pre-owned medical imaging equipment to make installment plans according to the size and complexity of the system. If you recently purchased a CT Scanner or any type of Medical Imaging Equipment, we suggest you follow some simple installment tips. The site must be prepared for all different aspects of installation, so once you purchase your CT Scanner or Used medical imaging equipment, you must prepare a timeline for installation.

If you hired an architect to build the site where your equipment will be, it is best to put him in contact with the Medical Imaging Equipment seller. They will provide you with the recommended floor plan for the site, and your seller will most likely add on the plan for the equipment. This should show all corners, pathways, and door-size openings to make sure there is room for everything. The CT Scanner provider will make sure all of the parts fit properly inside the site.

Once all of the plans and drawings are approved by you and your engineer, the final drawings will most likely be put together. These can include the electrical plans, HVAC, and plumbing required to install your CT Scanner. When this is reviewed, and your site is under construction, you will want to schedule a meeting with all of the people involved to visit the site and see any potential changes that need to be made and if all of the different aspects, such as plumbing, electrical, and others have been taken into consideration.

Your Medical Imaging Equipment seller or engineer can determine if there are any possible issues with the construction site and installation plans, so it is necessary to update them with pictures of everything that is going on or have them visit the site for an opinion. Once the construction completion date is settled, your seller will set up transportation and delivery accommodations for your new or Used medical imaging equipment. When construction is finished, your seller should have everything ready for installation.

There are many people involved in the process of your site plan and installation, so the process will take at least a couple of months to be completed. It is important to put everyone in constant communication in order to not have any issues with any important matters.
